MedColo provides secure data backup in the form of a computer server which has the ability to securely transmit and receive encrypted electronic data streams. Storage is in variable hard drive media which is customer selectable in a HIPAA compliant Data Server Facility. The HIPAA approved certification is a SAS-70 Level 2 certification, which certifies that the facility is using generally approved and auditable resources, infrastructure, policies, and procedures designed to protect electronic data stores with the highest level of confidence and security that is possible providing current technology levels.
